Favourite Film	Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope - Yes, I like it better than Empire.
Favourite TV programme	Always watch QI when it comes on, so I'll be looking out for the next series later this year. Also love The Practice, love those courtroom dramas! Also really like Life on Mars at the moment and My Name is Earl is crackingly funny!
Favourite Book	I do read quite a lot but I couldn't say what my favourite book was. Everything I've ever read by Neil Gaiman is magic, Neverwhere being the best so far and I cannot wait to get into American Gods. I also really like Charles Bukowski's novels. I hate a lot of the pretentious stuff people pretend they like but Bukowski is really easy to get into.
Politics	Everybody is equal. Surely there's more to life than the accumulation of material wealth? That's why I believe in Socialism although, I must confess, I have never worn a donkey jacket or a flat cap in my life.
Loves	Getting something done right.
Hates	Unfairness. Narrow mindedness whether it be racists, homophobes, fascists or sectarianism because basically, we are all people no matter what other differences may exist. Poor capitalists.
Personal musical highlights	Probably my very first gig at what was then called "Bar One" in Motherwell (now known as "Starka"). It was a very busy night and we went down quite well, I thought. I must say though: Retrostar are the closest to being the band I really want to play in.
Personal musical lowlights	Trying to get through to a certain person that I didn't like rock music and that was all we ever played.
